It helps ensure that the assessment looks beyond individual symptoms and considers the broader factors that influence organizational performance. By assessing maturity across 17 interconnected domains, the model helps leadership identify strengths, potential constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
This broader view reduces the risk of focusing on isolated issues while overlooking the deeper factors that may be limiting growth, execution, innovation, engagement, or customer relevance.
